You might have thought an 11 per cent increase in orders, confidence in future growth and being cited as a big factor in its parent firm’s incredible £147 million turnover would be cause to celebrate.
There were jobs created in 2023 too, with headcount rising from 374 to 412 at Stonehouse-headquartered UK Power Solutions, but one key factor outside its control rather took the gloss off the business’s incredible achievements.
