Marketing Inspiration, a new freelance marketing consultancy covering Gloucestershire, has been launched by Kelly Richardson.
Richardson said her new company was aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses across Gloucestershire with creative, strategic, flexible and affordable marketing solutions.
“I’m passionate about supporting local businesses that don’t have their own or a budget for an in-house team or marketing agency,” said Richardson, who is based in Cheltenham and has more than 15 years of experience in in-house marketing expertise, communications and events and fundraising campaigns.
“That’s why I created this consultancy, to bring fresh ideas, elevate strategies and provide practical marketing services to SMEs businesses who want to grow, but need a affordable and flexible guiding hand.”
She’s also highlighting something she will help appeal to those companies trying to reach the illusive net zero target.
“Six years ago, I swopped my work transport from a car to a Pendleton shopper bike with a basket, and using Stagecoach public transport or car sharing with people.
“I’m now continuing to be carbon footprint friendly by travelling for my business on my bike and using buses etc, supporting local suppliers and using recycled resources.
“I’m very passionate about being sustainable and supporting Cheltenham Zero initiative. I don't have a car which some people can't believe and they ask me how I do it!”
"I was also involved in launching a Trishaw Bike cycle to give residents trips on at Lilian Faithfull Care, with help from local volunteers.
“I’m looking forward to partnering with some lovely local people and businesses, whilst making a personal positive impact on sustainability and my carbon footprint in Gloucestershire.”
Richardson’s careerhas builtstrong relationships with charities, media, suppliers, business networks and communities across Gloucestershire, the Cotswolds and Southwest.
Belinda Wilton, founder of Glosjobs.co.uk, said: “Kelly gave us a good overview of our current situation and came up with some great ideas to improve our marketing.
“Some were quick and easy to implement, which we did straight away. Others are more long term and she will be helping us to put into place.”
Richardson, who started her career at Nationwide, also has a marketing and business management degree from University of Gloucestershire.
She has worked with Cancer Research UK, Leckhampton Sue Ryder Hospice, Cavell Nurses’ Trust, Lilian Faithfull Care and more recently Gloucestershire College.
