A former staff member of Lloyds Banking Group who joined Bruton Knowles as a senior business analyst just two and a half years ago has become part of an elite four-strong team to lead growth at the firm.
Paul Martin, IT director at the Quegdley-headquartered chartered surveyors, has joined managing partner, James Bailey, HR director, Neil Young, and finance director, Matt Baker on the executive management team.
Martin replaces Matt Baker, who stepped up to finance director following the retirement of Anne Willans after 35 years with the company.
Bailey chose the moment to underline the team's focus for the year ahead: “As a four, our aim is to continue this growth across all levels and all of our teams.
"We are always looking for the best avenues in which to continue to grow Bruton Knowles, and have several developments that we will be able to discuss further in the near future.”
The company recently opened offices in both Wimborne in Dorset, and Taunton in Somerset, taking its total to twelve with plans for more of the same.
In January 2023 it published annual accounts showing a turnover of £14.43 million for the year ending 30 June 2022 - up from £13.78 million the year before - with staff numbers rising from 146 to 164. The figures confirm a steady recovery since the setbacks of the Covid-19 pandemic.
