A house-building business run by Gloucestershire entrepreneurs has won another deal that will see it develop yet more land in the county.
Brunel Homes is described as an award-winning residential development company that specialises in building luxurious and bespoke open market schemes with Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds.
The firm, which is headquartered in Stonehouse and run by county businessmen Tom Lister, of Lister Communications, Paul Smith of Ermin Plant Hire and Jason Wasley of Aqua Construction (Brunel's construction partner) and Severn Farms Ltd, has just acquired land at Over Old Road, Hartpury.
It is a deal that was revealed by the commercial property team at Cheltenham-headquartered BPE Solicitors, which also drew praise from Brunel for its work.
Wasley, of Brunel Homes, said: “The BPE team was practical and proactive in getting this transaction over the line and we look forward to delivering these beautiful new homes to market soon.”
Paul Engelbrecht, a partner at the law firm who led on the deal, said “It's great to work with Brunel Homes on this acquisition and we wish them all the best with the development of the site.”
The acquisition will see Brunel Homes build 11 new homes, four of which will be affordable housing.
In July BPE's firm's commercial property team announced 2023 had started well for the firm, declaring its involvement in projects including Warner Retail's Cleevelands Centre Development at Bishops Cleeve, the acquisition of Bay Tree Court, Cheltenham, by Lilliam Faithful Care, completing the lease for Sef Steakhouse's first restaurant in the UK at The Quadrangle in Cheltenham and Aqua Construction's development King's Quarter development in Gloucester, to name just some of its work.
