Support lifeline for Cotswold businesses
A new service has launched to help support Cotswold businesses and charities as they begin to fight their way through the coronavirus pandemic
Well-known Cirencester businessman Adam Vines, is at the forefront of the initiative, revealing it to the world via social media earlier this week (on Thursday, April 24 to be precise).
Cotswolds Support is a free-to-use online directory in which companies can post a description of what they offer and their details to spread the word that they are active in the district.
Mr Vines, a member of Cirencester Chamber of Trade and also a director of website, print or graphic design specialists Lounge Design Limited, said: “I wanted to extend a branch to all of our connections based in the Cotswolds.
“Myself and my team of extremely talented colleagues at Lounge Design have developed a support site for small businesses and sole traders in the Cotswolds. Completely free.
“I would love it if you could share this around your networks so we can get the message out and help each other and our wonderful community. Together we're stronger.”
His ambitions for the project do not stop at a thorough directory of Cotswold businesses.
“We will be sending a weekly email to let you know who’s joined our community as well as positive stories from our community and beyond,” said Mr Vines.
“We understand the many impacts today’s climate may have on you and your business and would like to keep you in the loop with what’s happening in your local area.
“We stand together, separately. If you’d like to receive our weekly email, simply sign up.”
