Campaign to help business sees firm shortlisted for industry award
A major firm of accountants has seen its campaign to help businesses through the pandemic shortlisted for a national communications award.
Advisers and chartered accountants, Hazlewoods’ #BusinessforTomorrow campaign aimed to provide thought-provoking content that would help leaders to focus on what was important in their businesses both now and in the future.
The initiative delivered free cash flow templates, check lists and more than 200 bespoke advisory-led articles which reached tens of thousands of people through social media.
Emma Shorrock, who heads up the Hazlewoods marketing team, said: “As these are international awards, we are thrilled to be shortlisted and for the recognition of providing communication at a time when businesses needed it.
“By thinking about what business will be like tomorrow, the next day and so on, we can all adapt.
"With our 100-year history, this was not the first time we had supported businesses, and our teams stepped up to provide the content and advice, which we are very proud of.”
It is an effort which now sees the Staverton headquartered firm, which employs 380 staff,shortlisted for The Digital Accountancy Awards 2020 in the category of Thought Leadership Initiative of the Year’.
The campaign reached its peak with the release of the #BusinessforTomorrow magazine, which brought together a range of content, including real-life case studies.
The virtual awards will take place on Wednesday, September 30.
