Law firm makes raft of senior promotions
Ten senior promotions have been announced at a law firm across its private client, agriculture, family, dispute resolution and real estate teams and its first ever legal director named.
Lodders, which has offices in Cheltenham, has promoted Emma Sommerville to senior associate, and Sharon Crosby and Vicki Gulliver to associate within its private client department.
Also promoted to associate are Amy Parker, in the family law team, Lee Thompson (real estate team), Sarah Richardson (agriculture team) and Lauren Smith in the dispute resolution team.
In a first for the firm it has also introduced the role of legal director with Caroline Dresden taking the role in the family law team and Russell Spencer in the real estate practice.
Alexis Nicholls, responsible for the day-to-day running?and operation of Lodders?four?offices,?as well as leading its administration and support teams, is promoted from associate director to director.?
Paul Mourton, managing partner, said: “The new senior position of legal director has been created to enable the firm to recognise and reward some of our most experienced lawyers, and both Caroline and Russell are highly skilled individuals to be the first given this title.”
He adds: “Of course, this year has become one of the most challenging on record for many businesses, so it is especially rewarding to be able to deliver some good news. My congratulations go to all of our team promoted this year.”
Lodders also has offices in Stratford upon Avon, Birmingham and Henley in Arden. It has 26 partners and more than 160 fee earners.
