Law firm adds associate to its Cheltenham employment team
One of the firms jostling for space in the hotbed of legal talent that is Cheltenham has revealed a new appointment to its employment law team.
Faye Reynolds has joined Lodders as an associate solicitor following what the firm calls its “sustained growth in instructions from clients based across the South West”.
She is already advising employers and employees on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, and according to the firm “using her extensive experience, including tribunal advocacy, from acting for local companies, SMEs, and international corporations”.
“Currently, she is especially busy supporting clients to help them navigate the evolving and shifting employment law during the Coronavirus pandemic,” said a statement from the Montpellier Parade-based firm.
Lodders’ employment team works with senior directors, stakeholders and high net worth individuals in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and across the South West.
It also works with owner-managed businesses, charities and larger corporations in TUPE cases, reorganisations and redundancies, alongside advising on employment and HR strategy.
Ms Reynolds said: “Lodders is a very well-established firm with an excellent reputation. The employment practice is wide ranging and its client base means I continue to work with both employers and employees, and provide employers with sensible, commercial employment law advice that incorporates their wishes whilst minimising risk for their business.”
Paul Mourton, Lodders’ managing partner, said: “Faye has extensive experience of advising both public and private sector organisations, and a particular expertise in advising on disability discrimination in employment law.
“This well-rounded experience of working with a combination of clients has secured her a reputation for providing pragmatic and effective commercial advice.
“Appointing a high-calibre and experienced solicitor like Faye reflects the continued strong development of the Employment team and its reputation for good, strategic advice.
“Faye is an excellent addition to the team and the Cheltenham office, which continues to expand at pace, as Lodders remains one of the premier law firms in the region.”
Appointed as a member of the Law Society Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel in 2003, Ms Reynolds joins Lodders from litigation and commercial law firm rradar, where she was a senior solicitor specialising in contentious employment law for large corporations and SMEs, and advising and representing employees on Employment Tribunal claims and hearings.
Previously she was associate solicitor at Cheltenham law firm Harrison Clark Rickerbys, and Top 45 law firm Weightmans.
