One day left to enter charity golf day in aid of Hope for Tomorrow
Lifting restrictions on some outdoor sports has meant the return of the charity golf day, and there is just one day left to enter this month’s Constructing Excellence Gloucestershire event.
Gloucester Golf Club, on the side of Robinswood Hill, will be the venue for the active constructing industry group’s gathering, which will also raise funds for Hope for Tomorrow.
The Tetbury-based charity is dedicated to bringing cancer care closer to patients’ homes via mobile cancer care units, a service whose vital importance has come even more into focus through the pandemic.
The face-to-face (socially distanced) networking event will see golfers battle it out for honours over the 18-hole, par 70, championship course.
For members that don’t play golf, there will be an opportunity to join for a buffet tea and networking after play has finished.
Tickets (£40 for members, £50 for non-members and £15 for non-playing attendees regardless of membership status) are available to members and non-members. Ticket sales will close at 5pm tomrrow (Wednesday July 15).
